Snorkel Mahahual

Since December 2016, the marine area of Mahahual is included inside the Mexican Caribbean Biosphere Reserve. Snorkel tour in Mahahual has become one of the most popular activities for the tourists that visit this village. It is a great opportunity to get to know the famous “Great Mayan Reef”, that runs along the coast, and to swim among corals and species like rays, morays, turtles and tropical fishes, that gather in an area just a few minutes away by boat.
