RESERVATIONS

• All reservation requests must be submitted via email, WhatsApp, or any other written form of communication.
• For each reservation request submitted to Pepe Dive Mahahual, a written confirmation will be sent regarding the deposit payment required to confirm the reservation. The reservation will only be considered confirmed once the payment has been received by Pepe Dive Mahahual.

DEPOSIT, PAYMENT, AND CANCELLATION POLICY

• To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 20% of the total cost of the booked service or “package” is required, which must be paid within 7 days of the reservation request date. The remaining balance for the contracted service must be paid in the days leading up to the tour or “package.”
• If the customer cancels, for whatever reason, Pepe Dive Mahahual is not obligated to refund the amount of the reservation or contracted service. However, if the cancellation is made at the discretion of Pepe Dive Mahahual or the tour cannot take place due to weather or logistical conditions, the company will refund 100% of the amount paid by the customer for the canceled service.
• If, once the tour has begun (once the boat leaves port), it must be interrupted due to force majeure (illness, accident, weather changes, mechanical failure, etc.), Pepe Dive Mahahual is not obligated to refund the amount paid.
• By paying the deposit, the Terms and Conditions set forth by Pepe Dive Mahahual are deemed accepted.
• All bank fees, including those of the beneficiary (Pepe Dive Mahahual), must be covered by the buyer.
• Pepe Dive Mahahual reserves the right to assess non-payment and to cancel any current reservation, as well as to charge any resulting fees, in the event that the agreed-upon payments are not made.

SPECIAL TERMS FOR “PACKAGES”

• Due to the special terms of the contracted “packages,” which include discounts and preferential conditions, any change or cancellation of part or all of the “package” by the customer will result in changes to the terms of the package, and the applied discounts and previously agreed-upon conditions may vary.
• Any change or cancellation must be submitted in writing and confirmed by Pepe Dive Mahahual.
• If, for reasons beyond the organization’s control, not all dives in the booked diving packages are completed, Pepe Dive Mahahual is not obligated to provide any refund.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Pepe Dive Mahahual is not responsible for civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, illnesses, epidemics, accidents, injuries, damage, loss, and theft, quarantine, customs regulations, changes to flight schedules, delays, deportation, or denial of entry by immigration authorities, and other circumstances beyond our control.

DIVING CERTIFICATE

• All customers participating in guided or unguided diving activities (except those who sign up for a beginner’s course, Discover Scuba Diver, or introductory dive) are responsible for holding the appropriate diving certification for the level of the dives to be performed. Pepe Dive Mahahual and/or those responsible for the contracted diving activities reserve the right to refuse participation in diving activities if the required certifications and/or logbook are not presented.
• No refunds will be issued if diving activities cannot be conducted due to a lack of required documentation.
• Pepe Dive Mahahual reserves the right to refuse a customer’s participation or suggest they take a refresher course if the dive guides do not consider them capable or skilled enough to safely participate in the activity.
• If the necessary certification is not available or the dive guide responsible for accompanying the divers considers that, for any reason, a customer is not qualified to perform a dive, the guide has the authority to prevent the customer from participating in that dive. Pepe Dive Mahahual is not obligated to provide any refund for this reason.
• The diving services you book include a weight belt, weights, an S80 air tank, and basic equipment (mask, fins, and wetsuit). Other diving equipment is not included in the price. If you wish to rent all or part of this equipment, you must reserve it in advance of your arrival to ensure availability.

DISCLAIMER

• All customers must sign our liability waiver form before diving.
• Pepe Dive Mahahual reserves the right to make partial or total modifications to the planned program if necessary. We also reserve the right to cancel the booked tour for any reason, including failure to reach the minimum group size, weather conditions, organizational or technical issues, or safety concerns…
• If a diver fails to comply with appropriate safety standards, the dive guide has the authority to refuse to allow them to dive. Pepe Dive Mahahual is not obligated to issue any refunds for this reason.
