Playa escondida

Kayak tour to fully enjoy the nature in the Xcalak National Park, a remote area located 37 miles to the South of Mahahual village. The route starts under and old collapsed bridge in the Huach river, where we go with the kayak into one of the most beautiful mangrove ecosystems in Mexico. An exuberant landscape formed by three types of different mangroves will immerse us in a wild and photogenic ecosystem. We will enjoy three different lanscapes: the winding river meanders; the labyrinthine and twisted channels among the mangrove and the open lagoons where lots of wild birds live. In the five-hour tour we will also have time for a enjoying a picnic and resting under a comfortable palapa or taking a refreshing bath in the lagoon before departing back to Mahahual.
